Klaus Dieter Stadler, born in 1953, is an architect, art historian, and has a degree in engineering. He says: "Like so many Berliners I am not born in the city, but moved here from Southern Germany as a young student. Berlin is a pulsating city, at all times moving forward. It thus remains true to its spirit that is marked by openness. "Live and let live" is the Berliner's motto. Against the background of important social, political and economical decisions that are made in Berlin as seat of the German Government, simple people from many different countries seek their way, reach their personal decisions, and find their fulfillment in Berlin."
