The prison without walls known as the Killing Field regime lasted 3 years, 8 months and 20 days (1975–1979) and turned Cambodia into a mass grave. Why were they so intent in eliminating the Khmer race?

Chhim Sothy studied at the Royal University of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh, where he specialized in Buddhist themes such as the Ramayana, a mythical Hindu epic. His painting reflects traditional sources combined with contemporary elements. His oil works have been exhibited in Thailand, Singapore, USA and France.
