I am showing the effects of war/ genocide to demonstrate that these effects are wide-ranging and extend beyond the battle field, and continue through all levels of life and for generations to come, even after the conflict is over.

Rodney Dickson grew up during the troubled years of civil disorder that engulfed Northern Ireland and he reacted to his earlier experiences by considering the futility and hypocrisy of war through art. With over 20 years of exhibiting his work internationally he developed an interest in Vietnam and Cambodia where he has completed a number of art projects since 1992.
