6PM: Phnom Penh based photo journalist Mouen Nhean is known as the former publisher of the magazine "Cambodian Scene". In the Art Café he opens his photo exhibition CAMBODIAN BIRDS. 8PM: HIP HOP: MY LIFE (2011, 28 mins, Vietnamese, English subs) and RECYCLERS: COUNTRY WOMEN IN THE CITY (2011, 21 mins, Vietnamese, English subs) are part of a training project in community-based media involving staff from the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and VTV5. Participants were trained in community story facilitation. Project facilitators Peter Kaufmann and Wendy Erd split their time between SE Asia and Alaska. They will be present to talk about the process and project.
