7PM: Chuon Sarin's beautiful short film I CAN BE WHO I AM (2010, 21 mins, Khmer, Engl. subs) deals with two young Cambodian transgender and their story of self-acceptance and family acceptance. Screening is followed by brandnew GERMAN LGBT SHORT FILMS (Engl. subs) from the "International Queer Film Festival Hamburg", Germany's largest and longest-running LGBT film festival. 8.30PM: The Q-Film Festival is the first LGBT festival in a predominantly muslim country. It presents a "top secret" surprise film (2012, 90 mins, Bahasa, Engl. subs), which is directed/produced by Indonesia's #1 auteur. Q-Film Festival Representative will introduce the film and the festival.
