Scagliotti's DANGEROUS LIVING: COMING OUT IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD (2003, 58 mins, Khmer, Engl. subs) is the first docu, which explores the difficulties of Asian and African homosexuals. 7.30PM: The docu CALL ME SALMA (2010, 53 mins, Engl. subs) is set in Bangladesh. 15-year old Salma is forced to question preconceived notions of gender, sexuality, family and love. 8.45PM: Malaysia still maintains a law against sodomy, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. The country's first gay themed feature film DALAM BOTOL (2011, 90 mins, Engl. subs) is about a post-op transsexual who comes to realize that she may have been better off as a man.
