MICROCEDITS, CAMBODIAN REFUGEE KIDS AND “MY SCIENTOLOGY MOVIE”

4PM: DOCU – Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus’ address of worldwide poverty through microcredits makes for compelling viewing in BONSAI PEOPLE (2012, 78 min). 7PM: DOCU - CHILDREN OF KROUSAR THMEY (1993, 54 min) follows 32 orphans in the Thai refugee camp “Site 2”. They tell the story of their return to Cambodia before the first free elections after the KR reign. Despite the suffering, this is a story full of hope and joy. 8PM: DOCU - Following a long fascination with the religion and with much experience in dealing with eccentric, unpalatable and unexpected human behavior, Louis Theroux’s MY SCIENTOLOGY MOVIE (2017, 99 min) is stranger than fiction.
