MEKONG DOCU AND LGBTIQ FILM FILM FEST “PAKISTAN SPECIAL”
 
4PM: DOCU – Shot in five countries, MEKONG: THE MOTHER (2000, 60 min) portrays the Lower Mekong River Basin through its mainly rural population, still living from the rich natural resources. 7.30PM (CINEMA / UPSTAIRS): ILGA-ASIA FILM FESTIVAL. The docu HOW GAY IS PAKISTAN (2015, 60 min) asks what life is really like in a country, where homosexuality is illegal and considered by some as a disease. In this revealing journey to the country of his birth, Mawaan meets people living gay and transgender lives despite constant fear of persecution. The screening will be followed by discussion with Muhammad Siddique Wali from Hamraz Male Health Society in Pakistan.
