CAMBODIAN GARMENT WORKER’S PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
5PM: EXHIBIT OPENING “LIFE THROUGH OUR EYES - MADE BY CAMBODIAN GARMENT WORKERS” - To enable female workers to tell their own story and thus for moving beyond stereotypes, the GIZ programme Social and Labour Standards in the Textile and Garment Sector in Asia (SLSG) in coop. with Workers’ Information Center implemented this participatory photography project. 10 Cambodian workers were taught by German photographer Andrea Diefenbach how to use photo cameras. Check out tonight, how workers reflect on their living conditions, the world around them and how they picture their thoughts, emotions and dreams. Tutor and workers will hold a Q&A.
