“MARX STILL MATTERS” EXHIBITION OPENING & BLUES CONCERT
6PM: EXHIBIT OPENING “MARX STILL MATTERS: THE POOR, THE RICH AND THE BICENTENARY OF THE FATHER OF COMMUNISM” – On the occasion of Karl Marx’ 200th birthday, we invite you to the opening of group show, curated by German artist Ernst Altmann. The project – funded by the Goethe-Institut - is accompanied by film screenings (until May 16, check calendar for details and a lecture on May 26, 6PM. 8PM: MARX 200 FEATURE FILM - THE YOUNG KARL MARX (2017, 118 min) is an uncompromisingly cerebral period drama about the birth of communism in the mid-19th century. 10PM: BLUES CONCERT, featuring Pavel Ramirez (guitar), Colin Grafton (harmonica) and Keiko Kitamura (table).
