MOTHER MEKONG, MYANMAR PUNK AND “BLACK PANTHERS” DOCU

Shot with hidden cameras, YANGON CALLING: PUNK IN MYANMAR (2012, 60 min) introduces the main protagonists of the punk rock scene. 8PM: DOCU - A million afros, lots of leather, tons of funk: THE BLACK PANTHERS – VANGUARD OF THE REVOLUTION (2015, 115 min) tells the insider story of the “Black Panther Party for Self-Defense”, which sought to transform a system of racial oppression in the USA.
