INDUSTRIAL GOLD MINING, CAMBODIAN ARTS AND AI WEI WEI’S “HUMAN FLOW”
 
4PM: DOCU - END OF THE RAINBOW (2007, 83 min) explores the human dimensions of industrial gold mining in in Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, and in Guinea, West Africa. 7PM: DOCU – L. Shaw’s ANGKOR’S CHILDREN (2014, 66 min) is about Cambodia’s cultural and artistic renaissance told through the voices of three young Cambodian women. 7PM: DOCU – Chinese star artist /activist Ai Weiwei captures the global refugee crisis, the greatest human displacement since World War II, HUMAN FLOW (2017, 140 min). An ambitious amalgam of artist's film and political documentary, it is a grand meditation on how to cut through political apathy with solidarity and visual metaphor.
