4PM: DOCU - CHILDREN OF KROUSAR THMEY (1993, 54 min) follows 32 orphans in the Thai refugee camp “Site 2”. They tell the story of their return to Cambodia before the first free elections after the KR reign. Despite the suffering, this is a story full of hope and joy. 7PM: KHMER ROUGE DOCUS - Just for being different, Cambodian transgender Sou Sotheavy was imprisoned, tortured, raped and forcibly married in Khmer Rouge times. Sao Sopheak’s SOMEWHERE UNDER THE RAINBOW (2016. 60 min) follows this story. DEFENDING BROTHER NO. 2 (2017, 90 min) by Jorien van Nes focuses on the Dutch lawyers defending war criminal Noun Chea, Pol Pot’s former chief ideologist.
