FIRST DOCU AFTER POL POT, “FILMWORKER” & ORSON WELLES’ LEGACY
4PM: DOCU - KAMPUCHEA – DEATH & REBIRTH (1980, 90 min) is a mesmeric journey through the completely empty streets of Phnom Penh, shot by the first camera team to ever enter Cambodia after the end of the Khmer Rouge Regime. 7PM: DOCU - FILMWORKER (2018, 94 min) tells the story of a Leon Vitali, a young actor surrendering his thriving career to become Stanley Kubrick's loyal right-hand man. 8.30PM: CLASSIC FEATURE FILM - Upon his death, Orson Welles left behind a handful of unfinished films. A group led by Peter Bogdanovich and Bob Murawski have been able to piece together something akin to Welles’ original vision of THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND (2018, 142 min).
